Hi family and friends! It is still early days but so far this trip is fantastic! Our last night in Thunder Bay, Road Mom and Dad took me out to a wonderful Greek Restaurant called Naxo's. The food was great, but the decor was even better! Here I am next to Julius himself! Was hoping for an autograph, but he wasn't as friendly as he looked!

Opa!!!

Me and Iggy the White Otter in Ignace!

Road Mom took me cross-county skiing in Kenora! Just having a little rest on this rock. Beautiful day in the forest! I am adjusting to the cold temps, but I wish they would dress me a little more appropriately....you know...shrinkage!

Apres ski, I went for a swim with my lady friends at the hotel.

Then we went for a sauna. Couldn't stay in too long...you know...schweaty balls!

Brrr! It was really hard to get back in the cool water!

Our second day in Kenora, we had to go do laundry. This was my first time in a laundry mat. Road Mom even washed my little black sack!

Oh ya, very funny Mom!

We had a game of crib while waiting for the laundry!

After laundry we went for a walk to see "Husky the Musky". He was kinda scary!

Tomorrow we are leaving Kenora heading towards Winnipeg. Will update you then on the adventure. Take care all, love Ricky, xoxo

The Adventure starts in Thunder Bay

Hi friends and family. We had a good flight out of Toronto. It was a little on the cold side because my "Road Mom" would not take me in her carry on. She told me it was because I may be considered dangerous, but come on....we all know that she was embarrassed of what people might think if they pulled me out of her carry on! We arrived safely and checked into the Valhalla Inn. Nice place. They even had fluffy robes in my size! My Mom took me with her to work for a day. She showed me some sights and even let me drive. Enjoy the attached pics!

Ricky sized robes!

Learning to drive a shuttle bus! That way Mom can take pics while we are traveling!

My Mom testing her photography on this interesting monument on the side of the highway. Mom told me about artificial insemenation. She thought that I would be interested in this crazy procedure...what was she thinking!!!

Ricky

Greetings friends and family! This is the start of my new blog and a new chapter in my life. For those of you who do not know me so well, I will start my first blog with a little background about me.
I was born in the ocean on a coral reef. I was adopted by a tourist named "Bob" in Cuba. I immigrated to Canada not long ago. Bob put me into foster care. My new foster dad "Pete" took me everywhere. When I got the opportunity to trave across Canada, Papa Pete reluctantly let me go. I promised to start this blog so that Pete, Bob and all of my new Canadian friends could follow my adventures. Please enjoy the pics that I have attached. They are of my final days before leaving on this trip of a lifetime.
If anyone is curious, I was named after my unique physique and my charming personality. Hope you all enjoy my story!
Cheers,
Ricky

My friends and family thought it would be cute to hang me in the tree!
I wish they wouldn't do Tequilla!
